The Meralco Bolts rely on Sol Mercado and Mac Cardona to get them plenty of buckets. They combined to score 30 points in Game 1 against Petron Blaze, but were outplayed by the Boosters’ top combo of Arwind Santos and Alex Cabagnot who combined to post more points, more rebounds and more assists than the Bolts duo.

Now that Meralco needs them most, can Cardona and Mercado bounce back and outperform their Petron counterparts? Or will Cabagnot and Santos lead their team to another win?

IMHO, No, really i cant see them having a future in Meralco.

They couldn't co-exist, Coach RG kept on saying na maganda na ang Team Chem. Oo, in some parts of the Team, But with Mac2 and Sol. They're play together is a testament of somewhat, SA KANILANG Dalawa, hindi e.

this two would be considered as one of the dynamic duos of the league today..they might explode anytime which either of these two is known for scoring..but with Petron's sticky defense,it think they might have a difficult time having their momentum going..but as what I've said,these guys are still deadly..Petron should not relax at any point of the game..
