According to Sunstar Article from Cebu, the 6-foot-10 center and one of the most promising bigman in Philippine Basketball will not join the PBA Draft this year unless he will be drafted by the Petron Blaze Booster ( mother team of San Miguel Beermen in ABL) as the top overall pick according to his former manager and the University of Cebu Webmasters Basketball Team manager Atty. Baldomero Estenzo.
Estenzo cleared that San Miguel will release Fajardo if the SMB PBA Franchise will have the rights to draft him as the No.1 overall pick.
“Kon makuha sa San Mi*guel ang right sa no.1 pick, magpa-draft na si Fajardo sa PBA,” matod ni Estenzo.
(Trans: "If San Miguel will get the rights to pick no. 1, then Fajardo will join the PBA Draft," Estenzo said.)
Also according to Estenzo, Junmar Fajardo is already earning the same amount just like those in PBA which is roughly around 250-400k (hula ko).
